Benjamin Castro a month agoFirst time dining at Cup Cafe for dinner and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. We ordered the homemade fries to share, my wife got the burger, and I asked our server to choose between two French dishes I was interested in. She recommended the ham and brie with French onion soup, and I’m glad she did. My wife absolutely loved her burger, the fries tasted fresh and homemade, but that sandwich… wow. It brought me right back to childhood in the best way possible. The hot ham and cheese was phenomenal and full of comfort and flavor. Thank you to the staff for the great recommendation and for providing such a memorable dinner experience. We’ll definitely be back.
Erik Laifer 5 months agoWe are a longtime fans of the cup, but the last two times we have visited it has fallen short. I asked for a medium burger and it came out well done. The soup had absolutely zero flavor, and the server actually agreed. We love their strawberry cheesecake, but seasonally they were out of it this time. I hope they improve their food quality because their desserts remain always on point.
Brandon Weeks 4 months agoHad breakfast at Cup Cafe while passing through Tucson on an Amtrak trip from Marshall, Texas, and it was an excellent stop. We sat outside on the patio which was a great choice. The morning was a little cool, but the patio heaters made it comfortable while still enjoying the fresh Tucson air. The outdoor seating area is really nice with trees, plenty of space between tables, and a relaxed downtown atmosphere. The food was exactly what you hope for when getting breakfast on the road. The pancakes were big, fluffy, and cooked perfectly. We also had eggs and bacon which were simple but done right. Coffee was hot and kept filled, which is always appreciated when starting the day. Service was friendly and everything came out quickly. The whole experience felt easy and welcoming. This was our first time ever visiting Tucson, and this place made a great first impression of the city. If you’re staying downtown or just passing through like we were, Cup Cafe is definitely worth stopping at for breakfast. I would absolutely eat here again on my next trip.
Adrianne Size 3 months agoMy husband and I had an impromptu date for brunch today. We had our brunch outside. Very comfortable. Heaters were on to take the remaining chill of the morning away. I ordered the quiche, my husband ordered the fish tacos. The quiche was okay. Crust was tough, top was over cooked. The fish tacos were very tasty. Coleslaw was perfect! I also enjoyed a peach Bellingham with my coffee. Coffee was great. Server was polite and attentive.
Ry Bajanconcepts (bajanconcepts) 5 months agoOn the move again and found ourselves needing to get something to eat. Had a craving for breakfast and Cup Cafe won the search. Nestled inside the classic Hotel Congress. This quaint spot has a very rustic vibe. Plenty of exterior seating, cozy interior feel. Excellent customer service from start to finish and the food was excellent. Make sure you check out the quote wall. Parking will be a challenge, however, there are parking structures well within walking distance. Also, several other venues such as other restaurants, convention center, even multiple hotels and public service facilities. Will be visiting again.
