Lisa Price 8 months agoDesert drifter is doing a food drive starting tomorrow so please bring your non-perishables to help those who have been impacted by government shutdown since they will not be receiving snap or food stamps. And for your donation you will be receiving a free drink card and this is an amazing coffee. Please read the rest of my review to know what you will be getting .This place is an amazing coffee shop for just a drive-thru and walk up handicap accessible and it has a very friendly staff. They are very capable and very knowledgeable about their items. They also have military discounts and their drinks are simply awesome. If they don't have what you want, they are very upfront about it and they will try to make it if they can. If you have a problem they will correct it immediately. They definitely can compete with Starbucks in flavor because they have a better flavor coffee. It's a lot smoother. You can drink it black even their espressos and no bitterness. Their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their drinks so you can ask them any question before you order and they will try to make anything that you would like. Or adjust any of their drinks to be what you would like. Prices and the prices are comparable to any other coffee place if not cheaper. Their staff is definitely friendlier than a lot of other coffee places that I have been to and a lot more accommodating than most other coffee places that I have been to.
Javan Pohl 3 months agoThe best damn coffee drink I've ever had. I got the Desert Bloom, iced, oat milk. Normally I'm a single origin pour over, black coffee kind of guy. But I wanted something iced and it said this one was made with real honey which sounded like it fit my "I don't like them too sweet" kind of vibe. Holy cow, it was amazing. Super flavorful without tasting like it was super sugary. Absolute perfection. They also gave my dog a quality pup cup. That was some thick whipped cream. And had some dog treats on top. I am curious about why the orca is looking at those dogs like they're a snack though 😅
Kate Applegate a month agoI had the Desert Bloom and it was lovely - the perfect balance of espresso, honey, and floral flavors. It was a refreshing sip after a hot day in the desert. I'll definitely be back to try more of their drinks and I'm looking forward to when the new location opens closer to my end of town!
Voluptuous Vegan 7 months agoDesert Drifter is one of those coffee spots that just has it all dialed in. From the moment you roll up, the vibe is right — desert-cool aesthetic, a mural that says everything, and a staff that’s genuinely having fun (and even posed for a few pictures — love that energy). I stepped out of my usual matcha routine and tried their Clean Energy drink — and wow. It’s the perfect pick-me-up without the caffeine crash. You can tell they’ve put real thought into crafting drinks that make you feel good, not jittery. The menu is surprisingly extensive, with a mix of creative drinks and bakery items that all look as good as they taste. And what I love even more? Desert Drifter collaborates with local coffee roasters and bakeries — small businesses supporting small businesses. That kind of community connection just makes everything taste better. Bonus points for the drive-thru — ideal for those days when you need your fix on the go. Everything here feels thoughtfully curated and refreshingly original. My new go-to spot, hands down. I’ll definitely be drifting back again (and again).
