Stopped by Boxx Coffee and had a cortado made with their seasonal Rwanda beans. The highlight was being able to pick up some of the black tea characteristics, which gave the drink a nice level of clarity and let the origin stand out. The cortado was served a bit hotter than a cortado should be, which muted some of the flavors early on. As it cooled, the coffee became much more expressive and the Rwanda profile started to shine through. The crema and microfoam on top were also a little thicker than what I’d typically expect from a cortado, and the latte art was fairly minimal. The space itself was beautiful and a good place to hang out. The service was friendly and straightforward. Overall, the coffee was good and I would definitely return.

My friend and I came to this coffee shop. We both got the Caffe late. The barista was super engaging and welcoming. It was my friend's birthday, and she gave us a free cookie. Honestly, it's one of the best cookies I've had in a long time. The chocolate chunks were huge, and the salt balanced the sweetness. Overall, I would love to come back. There's also a trinket box right next to this coffee shop.

The coffee and pastries were all very good. It has a fun vibe where you can sit outside and people watch. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful so I highly encourage you to check this place out if you have some free time to enjoy a drink and do some people watching before you head down to Little Tokyo or other downtown shopping areas

2026.01.19 First visit Exceptional coffee, from their single-origin pour-overs to the espresso drinks (latte). You can truly taste the difference from standard commercial beans—it’s impressive. The space is bright and spacious, with a clear view of the roasting area. Service was attentive, and drinks were prepared quickly. As an SCA member, their quality truly exceeds that of a typical coffee shop. A must-visit whenever I’m back in LA!"

Neat coffee shop with an array of snacks. Loved the Peach Green Tea; refreshing. Clean and spacious café. Enjoyed sitting inside the café. Loved that they showcase their roaster. Coffee beans are a bit overpriced for the bag size. Espressos were very acidic and did not go down smooth [PNG-Papa New Guinea]. Perhaps a different batch or bean next time. They also have seating outside and a very clean bathroom.
