Visited this shop around 11:30AM on weekday and wasn’t busy at all. The barista there was awesome and I asked for the recommendation. I personally like natural matcha flavor and less sweet side so she suggested me “Layered Matcha”. Including tip, it was around $11. It tasted amazing, creamy and less sweet and get to taste more matcha. I would get light ice when I visit there next time tho. Inside of the shop has few bench, out side got more space to sit down but less tables. Overall if you want to try unsweetened, more matcha flavor matcha, this is the place !

Strawberry matcha drink was sooooo good! Highly recommend. They make the strawberry syrup in house I believe. All their items for sale were super tempting too.

My husband and I are visiting LA and stumbled upon this gem — and wow. Saero has only been open for about four months, but they absolutely nailed it. The coffee is delicious — truly high-quality craft coffee that’s hard to find, even in LA. The team was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they took the time to help us choose exactly what we’d love. You can tell they genuinely care about both their craft and their customers. If you appreciate really good coffee, Saero is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in LA!

a super aesthetic cafe! We got their signature saero coffee and it was awesome! It had wheat and whole milk in it which I’ve never tried before and it added to the flavor of the drink. One of the best espresso coffees I’ve had in Los Angeles. Service was fast. Thank you!

Located in the Spring Arcade building thats between Broadway and Spring Street, Saero its not the easiest to get to. Street parking can be sparse and flat rate parking lots will run you around $15. We got 2 ham & cheese croissants + 2 double matchas; spent $40. The prices are a slightly higher than other cafes & portions are average. The depth, flavor and profile of the double matchas were underwhelming. The cashier was not friendly nor welcoming & forgot to give us our croissants. I love the aesthetic of the cafe but thats not enough to bring me back. Theres so many cafes in LA, first impressions are the lasting impressions.
