I was doing a property inspection in San Francisco and decided to drop into a coffee shop once I was finished. I was initially drawn here because of the good reviews and I certainly see why. The coffee is fantastic and I ordered an amazing ginger cookie while my daughter ordered a pastry. The staff were very friendly and I loved the art work posted in various places around the interior and even in the bathrooms. I know it’s hard to be a successful coffee shop these days so it’s so nice to find one this great. Please try it yourself and support local businesses. Michael Delehanty Compass Real Estate.

Telescope coffee is delightful. The roaster for their beans means business, and the pastries/cookies/occasionally bread are all stellar. Got the honeycomb latte and it was delicious. Not sweetened with syrup. Will definitely be back

Coffee, pastries, and humans are just delightful. Also the attention to detail and care the baristas put into every drink is obvious (I mean, a honeycomb latte? Most cafes would never bother with a crumble topping for your coffee). Feels like a very human, inviting, place and I’m very grateful it exists!

Stopped by for an afternoon coffee. Place was nice and staff was super friendly and helpful. Tried the honeycomb latte, and I thought it was really good! I really don’t like sweet drinks and this wasn’t too sweet - it’s a latte with house honeycomb toffee sprinkled on top which melts into the drink

Second visit: underwhelming and disappointing. When I first visited them, a while back however, their baked goods were so good but this time around quite a let down. The blueberry lemon bread had neither notes and tasted dry and flavorless. The focaccia roll was very oily tasting. The banana bread was heavy cinnamon forward and dry as well. Worst of all, is the bad attitude from owner. Seems to be a pattern based on other reviews (too bad I didn’t check them prior to the visit). To think I went out of my way. The only positives were that the barista was pleasant and the cappuccino was good.
