Loyal is my go-to coffee shop for consistent, high-quality espresso drinks. Whether it’s a cappuccino or cortado for me or an iced latte for my partner, Loyal has never disappointed. Their rotating seasonal espresso selection is also great and always fun if you’re looking to try something new. While the coffee may not rise to the heights of an ultra-curated place like Cinchona, it also doesn’t carry the $8-10 price tag per drink — Loyal’s coffee is by far the best in COS for its price point and is remarkably high quality for how much business they do. I really love the community engagement events they run. I went to a tasting class with their coffee director and learned so much. It’s great to see how much expertise is at the company and how much thought they put into their sourcing and roasting processes. The basement meeting rooms are all really nice and are a great amenity for the community. I have also always been a huge fan of Loyal’s design language and decor. The light wood with rope and glass accents is super chic and inviting. I particularly like the shape of the ceramic mugs they use, and their minimalist logos are really cool. The overall design of the shop has good flow and ample seating, including little individual nooks where I’ve spent hours doing work. All of the staff are super friendly and always make me feel welcome, especially when I’m hanging out for a few hours. My only complaint is the limited food menu. The food options Loyal does have are always tasty and well-prepared, but I often find myself wishing there were just a few more options to choose from. Maybe a sandwich and a bowl of some sort? I understand the kitchen space isn’t huge and is definitely not the main focus, but even a small expansion to the food offerings would definitely be welcome.

A very nice selection of whole bean coffee. I was told that they rotate new beans in frequently. I tried a washed, pink bourbon from Colombia, which was slightly acidic (raspberry) with a very balanced finish. The staff were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The shop was clean, modern with lots of natural light. The only comment I have is that the music is unnecessarily too loud, as several people have mentioned in reviews. I am not sure why the owner or management won’t consider a compromise, but it’s their choice. I highly recommend the coffee and praise the staff, roaster and managers for an almost perfect experience.

Lovely cafe with outstanding coffee, tasty pastries and toasts, and a super friendly team. I popped by Loyal Coffee while working remotely from Colorado Springs, and it was the perfect spot for it — as indicated by the many other people doing the same thing. They have a good amount of seating, including tiny 2-person booths lining the wall next to their cashier counter, but it’s definitely a popular spot that fills up quite quickly. They also don’t have a *ton* of outlets (I only saw one next to the bathroom), so I’d come prepared with a fully charged laptop if you plan to work for a while. The music is also a smidge loud for taking meetings, but there’s a good number of seats outside where it’s considerably quieter. Beyond the remote working vibes, the coffee was fantastic. My latte was rich, nutty, and smooth, with all the right ratios and balance of flavors. I was impressed by their non-dairy milk latte art (it’s always a struggle), and the coffee went wonderfully with their cinnamon twist. The pastry was buttery and sweet, but not overly so, and it was quite large — an A+ breakfast or study snack.

Stopped by Loyal Coffee on Nevada Ave in Colorado Springs. Nice space with plenty of seating, and the staff was friendly. Bottomless drip coffee was great! The yogurt bowl was fresh and delicious. It’s a great spot to hang out, work, or just enjoy a solid cup of coffee. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

Excellent coffee experience! The pour over coffee was awesome from Colombia and the service was friendly and helpful. The space is really nice and modern. I would absolutely come back!
