One of the best bars in US! Very high tech! Very pleasant vibe, great service, u order your drinks from the table( qr code ) this place deserves more good reviews and more loyal customers! Great place!!!

Barrel House Cafe & Bar is one of those places in Washington, DC that feels effortlessly local in the best way possible. The moment you walk in, it has the energy of a neighborhood staple relaxed, welcoming, and unpretentious, while still maintaining quality across the board. What I appreciate most about Barrel House is that it does not try too hard to be trendy. In a city full of restaurants chasing aesthetics and social media moments, this place succeeds by simply being good at what it does. The food is satisfying, the drinks are well-made, and the atmosphere makes you actually want to stay awhile instead of rushing out. There is a balance here that is difficult to create: casual enough for everyday visits, yet polished enough for meetings, conversations, or evenings out. The staff always seem approachable and attentive, which adds to the comfort of the experience. DC has no shortage of dining options, but Barrel House Cafe & Bar stands out because it feels genuine. It has personality without forcing it, and that authenticity is what keeps people coming back. Definitely a place worth visiting whether you are local to DC or just passing through the city. And the Nachos, I could eat many plates of those! Ill definietly be back soon.

We went for brunch on Saturday morning. I was pretty disappointed by what we ordered. Croque Madam is a SPECIFIC dish, and to just get a subpar bacon and egg sandwich is false advertising. Service was slow to get our food out, and this is a larger issue with tipping culture generally, but…I’m not tipping 20% on a bill when I placed my own order, no one checked that our food was ok, no one offered us water, I opened and closed my own tab on an app. If all you did was bring me a single plate of (falsely advertised food), you shouldn’t have that expectation on the app you have to order food from.

Awesome happy hour spot!! The cocktails are so good, have a great pour and for 7$ the elderflower g+t was just what we were looking for. The wings are a little wimpy size wise but they tasted great. Also recommend the ceviche. We sat outside and after a long day of walking around this was just the spot to kickback and relax at

Stumbled upon this cute cafe and bar while on a Sunday walk and I highly recommend it. I had breakfast (French toast) and it was amazing! It’s in a great location right off 14th Street NW in D.C. There was a dope, chill vibe and a great eclectic music selection they play.
