Samantha 4 weeks agoPROS: The vibe and energy are really great. I loved the trees and decor. The large windows give the perfect amount of natural light. There is plenty of seating and open space. They have chargers at the majority of their seating locations. It seems like it would be a great place to study or surf the net. Bring headphones becuase to noise from chatter carries allot. The staff is so kind and professional! I enjoyed the Ube coffee cake!! CONS: The Hojicha Latte was ok. The first few sips tasted fishy which was odd. It was my first time trying Hojicha so I don't have anything to compare it too. I will stick to matcha. I decided to try a regular black coffee with their homemade maple syrup flavoring and whole milk. I rate the cup of coffee a -5. The bitterness was eye opening bad. My goodness! The beans tasted really burnt. Two sips in and I couldn't finish it. Unfortunately, it's a one and done for me. I wish them all the luck and success.
luz tibay 2 months agoHad the best little coffee date at Cafecito Jax 💜 I got the matcha latte and absolutely loved it, my husband tried the ube halaya latte, and one of the owners even gave my son some ube milk 🥹 We also had the ube coffee cake, everything was so yummy! The shop itself is so aesthetically beautiful, and we had the chance to chat with one of the owners who was incredibly kind and friendly. We’re visiting from Ocala, but we’ll definitely be coming back whenever we’re in Jacksonville☺️
Tim Pollock a month agoMight be the coolest and most original coffee shop I’ve ever visited. Everything about my experience was great. Loved the baristas, the coffee & food, even the bathrooms are great.
Abby Burgundy (A.B.) 2 months agoThis coffee shop isn’t just a place to grab a cup of joe; it’s an immersive experience. The unique ambiance sets it apart from any other coffee shop in Jacksonville. As soon as you step inside, you’re enveloped in a sense of discovery and wonder. But the atmosphere alone isn’t enough to entice you. The espresso, crafted with Bold Bean Coffee Roasters, is a testament to their exceptional quality. Their loyal customer base is well-deserved, and this coffee shop delivers on every level.
Anastasia Daly a month agoMy mom and I went for Mother’s Day. It was nice and cute. It was definitely over hyped I would say. The interior is nice and clean and the staff are extremely fast and friendly. Parking is limited and fills up fast on the street. The stuff’s a bit pricey for what it was. They have avacado toast and a prosciutto toast and each were $12 for one slice. It was nice and fresh but I don’t think worth $12 for one. I got a matcha and my mom got one of the little coffees in a mug, I forgot the name. But total will the toast and drinks it came to $44 which i personally think is a little much. The matcha wasn’t the best matcha I’ve ever had. It was kind of chalky but not bad. I would say the big thing was the bathroom. It’s all blood red and black color scheme which was completely different aesthetic compared to the clean minimalist aesthetic of the dining area. It was like a club bathroom and it looked pretty dirty. The dark color scheme also hides a lot of dirtiness I think. There were spots of blood on the floor as well. I obviously think this the cleanliness issue was due to customers lack of cleanliness and consideration. But over all I would say 7/10. Great for aesthetics, decent drinks and food but I wouldn’t say it’s worth the price, and the bathroom was probably a 3/10.
