Service: Adrian was excellent!! We came on a cold windy day in Florida (go figure) and he offered us temporary seating and menus - he then made sure we got seated and serviced quickly. We ended up having an impromptu extra guest and he was very accommodating. I loved his fun and attentive attitude. Thank you Adrian! Food: The fresh squeezed orange juice was great! Papa’s breakfast bowl was tasty also.

The atmosphere was incredible at Maman. My lavender latte was perfect. The cups and decor are so beautiful and the service was great. The omelet was good but my Croque Monsieur was dry and needed something acidic or some type of sauce. Our server was great and brought me some jam. Other than that the whole experience and all other food was incredible.

This maman feels like more of a full restaurant than the other mamans we've been to that are more on the little café level. That being said, it's a nice place, the food was good, and the coffee is just as good there as the others. This one is definitely a bit busier being in the middle of Brickell, but if you're in the area and want a nice place to sit down and enjoy coffee and brunch with some friends, this is a solid place to do it.

We came in around 5 p.m. hoping to get something to eat, only to be told the kitchen was already closed. Fine. Then I ordered a coffee with banana in it, exactly as listed on the menu. Apparently they didn’t have any bananas. The coffee itself was good and the cake was very tasty. Unfortunately, that’s where the positive part ends. The employee was extremely unfriendly and came across as very unsympathetic. No greeting, no “hello,” no basic courtesy at all. We basically had to push just to place an order. That is simply not good service. No matter how good the food or drinks may be, customer service is part of the experience—and here it was completely missing. At 5:25 p.m., the signs from the street were brought inside and placed right next to our table, which gave the clear impression that we were supposed to leave. That just added to the already unfriendly atmosphere and made us feel quite unwelcome.

So, I arrived 20 minutes before closing, just to have a quick coffee and pastry, not planing to stay until I had to be kicked out. Cashier supper nice, informed me the place was closing in 20 minutes, which I replied I was gonna be quick, I ordered a latter and an almond croissant. Pastry arrived first, and then the coffee, I assume it was the barista who dropped it off, very rudely through my coffee on the table and didn’t bother to replay when I said thank you… for sure not a latte as I ordered, instead a very very foamy cappuccino, also kind of cold. I was expecting more for a $7 coffee to be honest.
