The dining experience and service were exceptional. The staff demonstrated a high level of attentiveness. I particularly enjoyed the filet mignon, which was accompanied by rice expertly seasoned with soy sauce, offering a delightful umami profile. Furthermore, the beverages were crafted to perfection. The ambiance was highly commendable; despite the compact nature of the space, it felt expansive due to the seamless integration of indoor and outdoor elements, facilitated by an open wall design. This establishment is highly recommended for a visit.

This restaurant is incredible—run, don’t walk to grab a spot. They are open for breakfast - dinner, so you have options! The food is a mix of traditional South American offerings, but somehow light and refreshingly bright and zingy, not heavy. Incredible flavors blended so well to complement each other—The pickled onions, perfectly ripened avocados, thin plantain chips (not thick or greasy), unique avocado sauce, beans cooked perfectly (not mushy)…everything was just beautifully matched. We had Arupa vegetable, spinach empanadas, the incredible ceviche (a must) and the yucca fries (lightly friend, but again not greasy). The atmosphere is modern chic, yet cozy, intimate and friendly. Seems to seat 40-50 including a bar area. Plenty of incredible drinks of course. Great spot. You feel the careful considered choices in the menu and surroundings. They have interesting events to try too—Thursday night Spanish guitar, Sunday cozy mornings with live music among them. We tried the unique xocolatl chocolate too which was super. I stopped by for a solo lunch, and the experience was fantastic. The service was incredibly quick and efficient, which I really appreciated. The portions are on the smaller side, but they are flavorful and well-presented. A standout moment was when the owner personally checked in on me to ensure everything was perfect; it’s rare to see that level of care, and it made the visit feel very welcoming. If I lived in this neighborhood, this would easily be my go-to spot. Whether you're visiting the area or live nearby, I highly recommend stopping in!

First time eating an Arepa!! :) Very tasty. Katia was a lovely server and helped my every need. Yucca fries are absolutely amazing and you must get them. As a vegetarian I definitely recommend. The arepas are definitely freshly made.

Stellar experience at El Viñedo Local. Great atmosphere and fantastic coffee. The café con leche was superb and the perfect temperature to drink right away. Also ordered a guava pastelito and it was fantastic. Our server Malcolm was so wonderful, very attentive, kind, and welcoming. A must try for anyone in the midtown area looking for a great coffee and yummy bite in a relaxed, well-designed atmosphere with a ton of natural light!
