Stopped by La Malinche Coffee & Tea House in Pilsen to try something new. Place is nice and quiet. Bright pink walls, little decorative hearts, alebrijes all around and full piano in the room. Felt cozy right away. The staff were really welcoming, for an early morning. I got the hot chocolate. Honestly that’s exactly what I needed that morning. It had that real Mexican chocolate taste. Thick, creamy, smooth and rich. The cinnamon came through warm but not too strong, plus a little extra on top that hit your nose before the first sip. Sweet and it almost had this slight earthy note too… hard to explain but good. It even had that little design on top, like the ones they do on cappuccinos. Didn’t expect that but it was cool. I finished it slow. Didn’t wanna rush it. Just sat there taking small sips and enjoying it while it was still hot.

As a North side girly I found this place off Google search. I was looking for somewhere to have good coffee/food before I had to consulado mexicano. From the moment I walked in the music was giving! Early 2000's jams are always going to automatically get me in a better mood. I was welcomed by Wendy's warm smile and attentive personality. She was able to give me some feedback and pointers on their menu. I went with the mazapan latte and the chilaquiles. Everything was honestly so delicious and the salsa used for the chilaquiles was eally good as well. I am rarely ever in this area but I can definitely say that I would take the drive to try more of their menu items. They didn't disappoint ❤️

The place is small but very friendly, my first time in this place. I recommend it 100% the coffee ☕️ is delicious 😋. Chilaquiles green. Very good.👍🏼

Cafe featuring Mexican and Latin American flavors and flair. Loved the colorful art murals and decor. Food and pastries we got were solid and the dirty abuelita was delicious. Definitely worth stopping by, there's a good amount of street parking once you get off Halstead.

This is the reason Starbucks & Dunkin don’t go out of business. Never been to a coffee shop were they charge you for cream. Maybe oak milk & almond milk but cream 😂 I almost got charged for the cup & ice. They want to have a business and not lose any money. To many fees for watery coffee. Update, you respond saying that the The item in the picture IS NOT IN OUR MENU hahaha look at you’re receipt. It’s literally inside your establishment. Maybe you should redo you’re menu & prices and maybe add some tomatoes cilantro to your avocado toast. That way it won’t look sad & nasty I ate it because I paid to much money for 3 coffees & some toast with Aldis guacamole.
