Absolutely delightful! From the moment you walk in through either entrance, you realize that care consideration is taken to make sure that this coffee space is your favorite place!! This is my first time visiting Wichita, Kansas and my first coffee shop visit. I don't think I really need to go anywhere else!! Within minutes I had coffee and conversation with multiple folks from the area and beyond. This is a whole vibe!! The shop happens to be Black owned, veteran-owned, and world class, indeed! ***Day 2*** So Byron told me about his world famous chicken salad sandwich. I returned for a second visit and had a contemporary caramel macchiato along with the chicken salad sandwich. It's fantastic!! So glad I decided to make another stop. If I lived in Wichita I would be here everyday. Whenever I return to Wichita, I will come back! Thank you to the whole Greater Grounds team.

I rented out Greater Grounds for my graduation party & it was absolutely amazing! Not only did Byron make sure my day was perfect but he also worked the entire event & went above & beyond. The coffee was amazing, his staff are so friendly, & the atmosphere is so cozy. My cousin loved it so much, she’s renting it out for her wedding rehearsal! I will definitely be coming back & renting again for future events.

Good coffee and drinks, very creative. Delicious crepes and pastries in a very cool vibe. Great place to hang out. Staff is fantastic.

I have to say, originally I only visited because as a customer at the Hotel at Old Town, I’d receive a bit of a discount and I love to go to local coffee shops. After visiting four days in a row I can say with my chest that this business, staff, and owner are absolutely phenomenal at what they do consistently. I’m in town for an unfortunate circumstance and nothing has been going right in my world. While I was waiting for my latte and gluten free espresso brownie, Byron sparked conversation with me and we discovered that both of our grandmothers names are the same, not only that but he said he’d pray for mine by name, and that Greater Grounds was designed around his grandmother. The Piano Man latte and the piano sitting in the rear of the shop are based on Byron’s grandmother. That experience started my day off in the best way possible, and it felt genuine. I truly needed it. The next day, I went in because Byron told me they can do gluten free crepes. I ordered the peanut butter banana crepe gluten free and a latte. Both amazing and drool worthy. Elaine made the crepe and confirmed what I ordered with me personally. Such a kind soul and I felt like she cared about what we spoke about as well. Thank you both for making my dreary month sooo much brighter just by doing what you do everyday. You have no idea how much it meant to me. See you tomorrow ha!

Greater Grounds is truly a gem of a coffee shop in Wichita! The atmosphere is always welcoming and positive — the perfect blend of relaxed vibes and serious productivity. It’s one of my favorite places for meetings or getting some work done. Every drink I’ve tried has been excellent, and I especially love the beautiful glassware and plates they serve when you dine in. It makes the whole experience feel a little extra special. I recently tried the chicken salad on a croissant with fresh-cut apples, and it instantly became my favorite sandwich in town. The croissant was fluffy, flaky, and absolutely delicious, and the chicken salad was perfection. Another huge plus is the easy parking in the back, which makes meeting people here simple and stress-free. If you’re looking for great coffee, a welcoming atmosphere, and genuinely good food, Greater Grounds is the place to go. ⭐ Highly recommend for meetings, caffeine, and good vibes!
