Was here a couple of times throughout my visit to New Orleans and throughly enjoyed both visits. The last visit in particular was what made me write this review. The seemingly unassuming Shrimp and Grits ended up being the best (and arguably cheapest) meal I had that week. I haven’t had Michelin star shrimp and grits but if I were to imagine, thats what they would taste like. Shrimp was cooked to absolute perfection. Not overdone, not underdone, just right - literally the timing on that shrimp doneness was within milliseconds of perfection. The sauce on the shrimp was the kind of sauce you’d expect in a restaurant rather than a corner cafe. Perfect balance of salt and spices. Coffee was pretty great too, of course, but if you’re here definitely try their food menu. They are cooking up a storm. Chairs outside are also nice to sit, people watch, and strike up a conversation with the friendly locals.

Limited review as we came late before the Jazz Bars open, after our server had serviced the entire city of New Orleans this shift. Casual atmosphere, nice tunes. Interesting sweet case... too bad I don't have room so, no food rating, but it all looks good. A short brace of musicians prepping for the night, a street personality or two hanging around. A few marble 4 tops, long coumter with seating, high ceilings with fans. What is not to like?

Everything Coffee, Cocktails, Teas and Seasonal Creations. EnVie is a wonderful French style cafe with a drink for every taste. They also have quite an extensive breakfast menu for a café as well as wraps and paninis, etc. A truly great spot in the Quarter.

First time in New Orleans and first time at Envie. Friendly staff and cashier helped me pick out a tasty syrup for my Italian soda. I had the prosciutto and asparagus panini and honestly would get it again. The atmosphere is cozy while giving the artistic vibe. People reading books- chatting with one another. Would come here again.

I love that they open at 7am. I got a latte, which was very good, and the Avocado Omelette, which was made with all fresh ingredients, was cooked perfectly and was perfect for a spring morning. The staff were all very friendly and pleasant, and I left full, and having been treated well and with kindness. 10/10 will be returning.
