Outstanding coffee and service! We went out wanting a mid day drink and to pick up some great third-wave beans! The latte was well balanced with perfect foam! We asked the baristas who recommended this blend for a funky and unique home experience The biscotti was fresh with still a good crunch. Both of us remarked how delicious! It did not disappoint. High quality beans with funky notes. Perhaps the best feature was the atmosphere: a great spot to do work, catch up with friends, or just have an outstanding coffee. Looking forward to our next bag! Brought our newborn and it was a quiet atmostphere! Street parking is available around the shop and there is also an outdoor patio as well as indoor seating

Love coming to Sophomore Coffee! It’s so cozy and welcoming, and the coffee is some of the best in all of Baltimore. It’s consistent, smooth, and rich. You won’t be disappointed!

Always wondered why I saw ppl walking down these stairs finally I went down those stairs and it lead me to 2 beautiful souls who own a coffee shop. What a pleasure it was to visit such a great establishment. I brought my first matcha outside Dunkin and I don't regret it. Won't be my last time coming here I'm such a fan now. I even joined their rewards list.

If you enjoy quality coffee and vibes, walk down the stairs into the basement to find Sophomore Coffee. The space itself is tiny, but does have a few seats each with outlets easily accessible. The coffee menu is quality. I enjoyed the cardamom latte with house made syrup. My daughter enjoyed the hot chocolate after putting sugar in it. They also sell a few food and snack items.

Great little coffeeshop tucked away on the basement level of a row building. The service was great and the barista was clearly knowledgeable about coffee. I can't recall if they had wifi or not, but there wasn't too much seating available. I didn't quite like the seasonal specialty latte I got (the Smoke Signal) but I could tell it was quality. I really liked my partner's drink (the Yankee Candle). I'd wouldn't just stick to the basics here!
