Very much enjoyed Desert Winds coffee house/roasters. -friendly and helpful staff -very good coffee, worth going again back for. Also wide range of coffee varieties available. -one of coziest coffee shops I’ve been to. The easy jazz background music I think really did it, but plenty of comfortable seating, not crammed together also really helps. -extra credit, they’re coffee signs and wall decor are excellent. Several I’ve never seen but very applicable to any other coffee appreciators. -final verdict, would go back and will likely make one of my go to spots for passing thru or while working on location in Vegas.

Just moved to this neighborhood and Im glad I found this coffee spot! Tried the Colombia pour over, very good. Very cozy vibe. Friendly staff. Music is great too.

I was fortunate enough to be made aware of the fabulous coffee at Desert Winds by a close friend of mine I shall refer to as Mr A. Now Mr A is definitely not Mr. Pink or Mr. Blonde he is a rather erudite fellow whom a coffee shop like Desert Winds was made for. Over an exceptionally well made Vanilla Latte from the superb staff we discuss topics ranging far and wide at least once a week. The crema is superb and the cup is always full of that delicious brew. The environment is conducive to quality conversation and the homemade snacks are equally superb. If you find yourself seeking a quality cup of coffee I highly recommend Desert Winds for the coffee, the staff and the ambiance. Treat yourself you will not regret it.

Wanted to step away from my normal routine of drinking Starbucks, so I utilized the Yelp app to track down some coffee spots in my area. What intrigued me about this place was name of the coffee options.. cute and funny! As a lover of Breaking Bad, I ordered a Walter White. This location can be found nestled away in a small shopping center off of Sahara and Buffalo. Seems like a great place to study, lots of space for sitting, pastries were available, as well as some trinkets that were in display for sale. When I walked in it wasn’t a very welcoming atmosphere, ( no Hi or good mornings) but they did offer to any answer questions. Which I did ask what was the popular drinks .. Walter White being one of them. I ordered that and headed out. I give the drink a 6/10 I can tell it’s strong(good thing) it’s not too sweet and a good mix of caramel and I believe white chocolate. Cozy spot, quite natural decor I recommend checking it out.

Kitschy campy fun decor, with refined touches that hint at the ecclectic status of hideaway. One of the rarest coffee shops in town, imho, offering fresh roasted and ground to order 1/2 lb - 2 lb bags of Tanzanian Peaberry beans.
