If you are a coffee drinker like me, not one who drinks dessert and calls it coffee, this is not the place for you. I am convinced the coffee is not good. But the atmosphere and the service is amazingly good. So, if you drink sugary coffee and you are in search of a nice place to hang out, this one is for you. They do serve beer and food. The people behind the counter are so good, it makes the coffee taste better. I will keep going and drinking the coffee, just to be there.

Little Bear has amazing coffee and a wonderful vibe! There are plenty of tables and outlets for those who want a place to work remotely. We got an LB latte and a honey latte and both were excellent. This is a must-try if you’re in Nob Hill!

I was excited to try this place for months since it’s always popping up when I search for a coffee or matcha place. When I walked in i went and sat at the bar top and the bartenders was speaking/helping a couple at the end of the bar, it seems like they were maybe friends cause they were chit chatting for a minute which I was honestly perfectly fine with. I’ve ran into friends while working and catching up for a sec is cool with me especially when you’re a bartender! :) The issue I had was the fact that after 5-10 minutes pass and they’re still talking to the same a couple and I still was not greeted yet. They in fact made eye contact with me plenty of times and just stared at me. Another associate also comes behind the bar and is playing with a tech deck, which I literally would not have an issue with IF I was greeted or helped or anything 😂 I do look young so maybe they thought I was underage…? I’m not but I never got carded so? If it was busier I would understand but it was pretty chill inside. I wanted to like this place so bad but I got so annoyed after 10 minutes I just grabbed my stuff and went to the bar downstairs instead :/. This was Friday evening

Nice vibe, good coffee. Matcha was a bit bland although it had a good pigment. Would come back but probably wouldn’t order matcha again

Cool atmosphere inside old tire shop— brutalist architecture. Has a garage door to open to outside patio when temperatures are pleasant. Serves as a bar for nighttime drinks. Music 🎶 level is perfect—
