This place is small but stunning. It is like a good spot to feel good vibes, energy, and reset your nervous system. I don’t think I have been to coffee spot that it brings this wow factor to you and just makes your smile. Employees are nice as well. The foxy brown hot version was delicious. I would try it cold next time. Definitely a spot to return to over and over again. Oh, and the photos all over are THE BEST. A gem!

I came across The Archive CLT and their statement really caught my attention: “We serve as a cultural hub and café (in that order). Our mission is to preserve and showcase the rich history and lived experience of Black culture.” That alone made me take the long drive to check it out — and it was absolutely worth it. The space is filled with history, intention, and beautiful décor that tells a story the moment you walk in. The coffee was good, but what truly made the visit special was the history and the purpose behind the place. It’s more than just a coffee shop — it’s an experience. Cheers, BN

I had an amazing experience at Archive. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the character and history of the space. The atmosphere is warm, beautifully designed, and filled with personality — it’s not just a coffee shop, it’s an experience. The coffee was absolutely outstanding. Perfectly crafted, rich in flavor, and clearly made with care and quality ingredients. Every sip was enjoyable. On top of that, the service was exceptional. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, making me feel right at home. If you’re looking for incredible coffee, a place with real history and ambiance, and top-tier service, this is it. I will definitely be coming back!

Wow, wow, WOW! What a cool shop and unique vibe. Tons of fun things to look at/purchase like games, books, and postcards. The coffee is incredible. Got the Foxy Brown iced late with oat milk and an extra shot, it’s perfect! Not too sweet and so smooth. Will be back again soon.

Love this place! It’s got such a cool, nostalgic vibe. I had the Foxy Brown oat milk latte which was so smooth and flavorful, and my daughter had the mango smoothie which was amazing with a bold, fresh mango taste. We split a slice of locally sourced lemon cake that was perfectly tangy and delicious. The decor is fun and full of history, and my daughter got a kick out of the vintage phones on the tables. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to!
