I ordered the burrito and it was massive. It was amazing and I would highly recommend Blackened Coffee for their amazing plant-based menu. The coffee was phenomenal and I would recommend The Flying Burrito (Scrambled plant based egg, savory seitan chorian crispy potatoes, pico, cheeze, avocado, with Spicy Boi Aioli, wrapped in a flour tortilla).

Not only is the venue attached to the restaurant/ coffee shop extremely unique but the small service window of Blackened out back really wraps up this one of a kind experience. The food is phenomenal and very well prepared. Everything has thought behind it and the main focus of removing cruelty from your breakfast is truly captivating. Each item, cleverly named, has its own place on the menu but everything vibes so well together. My partner and I traveled all the way from Portland, OR to try this new Columbus staple in the vegan world. We will be back as often as possible and look forward to trying each variation of the menu as the seasons change around our visits. Kudos to the staff for being so well knowledged, friendly, and inviting.

I just ate one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my life. You have to try this place. The War Pig is crazy and whoever is back there making the food is doing it with the magic touch. I’m going to have dreams about this sandwich dude. Also ordered a coffee I wouldn’t usually try and it was sick. Love this place bad

It’s always gonna be a good day when I start mine out with Blackend. Although I don’t regularly eat vegan food, their breakfast is so delicious and flavorful that you can’t tell the difference. I really recommend their Black & Blue latte and chorizo breakfast tacos. The staff is amazing too! Great people serving up great coffee.

Come for the coffee but really it’s about the food. Yes you’ll wait and maybe get a little tude in the process but this is easily some of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had not only in Columbus but frankly anywhere. We ordered the Slapper and the Flying Burrito and we can’t wait to go back and see if it lives up to these lofty expectations again. I’m sharing this at my own peril bc it takes quite some time to get the food but honestly it was more than worth the wait
