Today morning I visited Olala Cafe, a French cafe, and I must say I was genuinely impressed by everything. I first came across this place a couple of weeks ago on Instagram and read about how it was started by a father-son duo. I also noticed they had opened very recently, and after seeing nothing but great reviews on Google, I knew I had to try it. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the father, which instantly made the experience feel so welcoming and personal. The ambience itself felt very French, from the portraits on the walls to the cutlery and overall vibe of the place. We ended up getting the Almond Pain au Chocolat, Chicken & Avocado Croissandwich, Croque Monsieur, and the Strawberry & Cream crepe. Everything tasted super fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly light. The crepe had just the right amount of sweetness, and their cappuccino was amazing too. Overall, it’s such a lovely cafe, and I’ll definitely be going back to try their crème brûlée next. Okay, I know I just wrote an entire essay about a cafe, but honestly… it deserves the hype. If you’re looking for amazing croissants, coffee, and sandwiches, I’d highly recommend this place.

I had the chance to meet the owner, who recently moved from France, along with his son, a pastry chef with experience in a high-end restaurant—and you can truly taste that level of craft in every bite. The customer service was excellent, and the croissants have me in a chokehold (one I’m happily staying in). My wife and I genuinely dream about them. There’s something special about hearing that flaky, delicate crunch from warm bread fresh out of the oven—it’s next level. The café itself is spacious, with plenty of room to work, plus a great outdoor area. It carries a super cool French vibe that feels like a real gift to Nashville. They’re currently in their soft opening phase, but if you see the door open or a sign out front, definitely stop by—you won’t regret it. The coffee was good, parking was easy, and I’ll absolutely be back.

Best croissant you’ll get without going to France. Atmosphere is cozy like a European cafe. The owner was walking around checking on guests and their satisfaction with their orders. The only downfall is I don’t live here and can’t come everyday.

Love this place! The croissants are perfect, the atmosphere is so charming, and the father and son that own the cafe are so kind and welcoming.

What a gem of a spot! Great coffee and vibes, and easily one of the best croissants I’ve had in my life (plus it was HUGE). Definitely will be coming back.
