Grounds and Gold is one of my most frequented coffee spots in Arlington. It’s locally owned, the coffee is consistently well made, and the food has always been excellent. One thing I really appreciate is their gluten-free options for pastries and sandwiches, including the build-your-own breakfast sandwich, which is a regular choice for us. My wife always feels confident that her order will be made with care and safe for her to eat. Beyond breakfast, the lunch menu is just as strong, with a great selection of soups, salads, and sandwiches. They also run a rotating lineup of specials, which keeps the menu feeling fresh. I’ve brought my family here and have also used it for work meetings — the space and overall environment work well for both. It can get busy, but it never feels overwhelming. The staff is always friendly and courteous, and orders come out promptly even during peak hours. This is a reliable, comfortable spot that I keep coming back to.

The atmosphere is super welcoming! The Smores Latte was delicious. I usually like them a little sweeter but the flavor was so good, I didn't this time. The gluten-free, vegan Spicy Chai muffin was scrumptious. Great staff too!

Food and drinks are great and there's lots of seating available. Great vibe for studying or hanging out. Plenty of outdoor seating too. Excited to try the pastries 😋

If I could give this place 10 star I would. Food was so good, I got the cowboy brisket hash. Will be stopping here every time I’m over this way. Coffee was excellent too, has good rich and bold flavors with beautiful art. Place has a great atmosphere with area to be able to sit down and get work done or meet with friends.

This café was recommended by a friend, so I was excited to try it as a coffee enthusiast. The ambiance was excellent—tastefully designed with elegant furniture and a well-curated atmosphere. Service, however, was fairly basic. The staff member who took my order seemed disengaged, and when I asked questions about the coffee menu, the interaction felt more like an inconvenience than an opportunity to assist. There were no recommendations offered, and the exchange was minimal. The barista appeared personable and had a good rapport with regular customers, which I appreciated, though as a first-time visitor, that connection understandably wasn’t extended to me. I ordered a cold dulce latte, which was fine but not particularly memorable. Overall, the experience was decent. I would visit again if I were already in the area, but I wouldn’t make a special trip as I did this time based on the recommendation.
