Colattao Coffee House is hands down my favorite coffee shop! Their Churro Latte is absolutely amazing and worth every mile of the 45 minute drive I make just to get there. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and has the perfect vibe whether you're meeting friends, getting some work done, or just relaxing with a great cup of coffee. Not only is the coffee incredible, but the food is delicious too. Everything I've tried has been fresh and flavorful. The service is always top notch. The staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and genuinely makes you feel appreciated every time you walk through the door. If you're looking for amazing coffee, great food, outstanding service, and a cozy atmosphere, Colattao Coffee House is the place to go. Any place that can get me to drive 45 minutes for coffee deserves 5 stars!

There are a lot of delicious desserts, pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. A lot of space to sit inside and there’s outdoor space also. The first that made us a little bit uncomfortable is a long queue and the crowd. We waited about 15 min. We chose to sit outside where was much more quiet. We got our order pretty quickly and it looked very nice. All food is served in beautiful dishes 😍👏👏👏. The desserts were delicious we enjoyed them but coffee was not good at all 😔. It was bitter even with cream. We were disappointed ‘cause we were looking for a good coffee shop and chose this place. If you are a connoisseur of real coffee I can’t recommend this coffee house. If you want to enjoy delicious dessert it is a very good choice 👏🫶.

I prefer coffee shops that I can walk to and this coffee shop is at least 30 minutes away from me, but it is absolutely worth the drive! I think this is going to easily take the place of my favorite coffee shop in Hampton Roads. I can’t say enough good things about this coffee shop. The coffee alone would keep me coming back but the food somehow steals the show. Every bite feels thoughtfully prepared and genuinely delicious. The ambience is just as impressive: warm, inviting, and beautifully designed without feeling overdone. It’s the kind of place where you can relax for hours or meet up with friends and actually enjoy the atmosphere. What really sets it apart, though, is the service. The staff is attentive, friendly, and consistently goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. It’s rare to find a spot that nails coffee, food, atmosphere, and service all at once, but this place absolutely does. Highly recommend! I can’t wait to go back!

amazing cafe. the atmosphere is so cozy. i went with my friend; i got a cappuccino, she got the iced churro latte, and we shared two pastries. one was the berry lemon mascarpone cake 🍰 🤌🏼💋 i can’t remember the name of the other one but it was layers of puff pastry with hazelnut and chocolate 😋 my cappuccino was classico, not sweet at all (just how i like it), but they have signature lattes that are sweet and you can order it iced or hot. i enjoyed the decor on the walls, it gives a nostalgic and homey feel. they have couches by an electric fire place, but get it while you can, because those seats are popular and get taken quick! the service is kind, and fast. i’d say it’s one of the best cafes in the area. 🫰🏼🫰🏼🫰🏼 i hope next time, i get some latte art on my coffee ☺️ 🌿

Gorgeous coffee shop inspired by South American family run business. Hands down the BEST place in Va Beach for a strong cup of coffee & the coziest vibes! The pastry selection is vast and delicious and all their breakfast sandwiches are served on a beautiful buttery croissant except the cubano. They always have drink specials and the staff is so friendly. You can tell it’s a close knit family who truly love what they do. Colattao never misses!!!
