I’m visiting for a funeral and stopped by Idyll for a coffee to relax and reflect. This adorable spot has lifted my mood immeasurably! What a lovely place, full of friendly staff and fantastic, earthy ambiance. And my mocha latte is outstanding. If I find myself this way again, I will be back. Thank you for such a nice experience.

More than any other coffee shop in the area, Idyll provides a welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy. The gorgeous space has lots of seating and is decorated with plants and pieces by local artists. I am constantly impressed by the staff’s knowledge of coffee and ability to come up with so many unique and delicious seasonal items. If you haven’t been to Idyll yet, it is absolutely worth checking out.

A very cool space with lots of seating to chill or work at while sipping your beverage. I had a drip coffee and breakfast sandwich on a busy Saturday morning. The service was quick considering the rush. The sandwich was large and well prepared. Definitely a great addition to the Tosa neighborhood.

Wow, what a totally unexpected pleasure. I have passed this building numerous times and always wanted to check it out. This morning I finally had the chance. Came early with a friend to enjoy a hot beverage and a pastry. The building is large, with tall windows across the front and a couple of short stairways leading to the main entrance. There is also a rear entrance that does not require climbing steps. Once inside, the space opens up beautifully. The roastery is to the right, the order counter straight ahead, and seating is spread throughout. There is a second floor that is also very spacious and well set up for seating. In addition, there are several rooms that appear to be used for private gatherings. An elevator provides access to the second floor. Restrooms are located on the first floor only, which was my only small disappointment. When we arrived, there were only a few other people there, and we were able to order right away. I ordered a London Fog Tea Latte with a little lavender and vanilla, served in a mug, along with a vanilla scone with icing, which they offered to heat up. My friend ordered drip coffee and a spinach and feta Danish, also warmed. We grabbed a spot upstairs, where there were plenty of open tables and chairs to choose from. Seating options included a circular couch, sofas, leather chairs, and wooden chairs. There was something for every type of group. The lighting was good, and the design and décor were interesting and well done. The space had a great vibe overall. It was quiet at first, but became livelier as more people arrived and the place eventually filled up. The London Fog was excellent, with the right flavor and texture. It could have been just a bit hotter, which I will be sure to ask for next time. The foam was perfectly done all the way to the bottom of the china mug. The scone was also very good, with a true scone texture that was dry and crumbly. An excellent first visit. Aside from the lack of a second floor restroom, the space was truly impressive. This one is definitely going on my "A" list.

Visiting from out of state, came to Idyll on a recommendation and so happy we experienced it! The building is gorgeous, and intentional, with its abundance of natural lighting and plants and decor. The music was bumping and making for a fantastic vibe on a Sunday morning. Food & drink were exactly what the doctor ordered!! I got the tambo cortado and a raspberry scone and my husband got a lemon lavender cold brew and a lemon loaf. We loved it and it perfectly fueled us for our big travel day ahead of us! Really good stuff here overall, but they really get it right with the atmosphere & energy
