Came here after prayer and was so grateful to find a cafe open late during Ramadan. It’s a small ma and pa spot with such a cozy, homey atmosphere that makes you feel instantly welcome. I ordered the yansoon tea, which was incredibly fragrant with notes of anise and ginger. The cashier described it as a warm hug, and he wasn’t wrong! We also had the pineapple ginger juice, which was so refreshing and perfect since we were trying to limit caffeine that late at night. We also ordered the kunaffe, and it was definitely worth the wait. It was warm, decadent, and absolutely delicious. Everything here is well priced, and the customer service was a delight. The employees were all very friendly and took their time to explain the drinks and help us decide. Overall, such a great cafe with a wonderful atmosphere. We’ll definitely have to try the coffee next time we come!

The date tahini was so delicious! It wasn't too sweet, thanks to using dates, and was creamy and foamy but not heavy due to the tahini. Best latte I've had in the bay area! The ambiance is also so nice too, with good books so you can chill and read while drinking delicious coffee. This is definitely a place I'll come frequent and take my friends to :) UPDATE: I tried the zaatar scone and it was absolutely delicious! It was spiced very well with a crispy, satisfying exterior. Highly recommend as well. My friend got the cardamom spice latte and it was also great!

genuinely my second home, I come here so often to read a book or talk with a friend. The music is always great, the interior is beautiful, and the drinks are some of the best I have. THE BAKED GOODS ARE AMAZING!!! I love the focaccia and cookie so much.

Loved my experience at this cafe. Lovely owner and employee. Fair prices. The coffee was AMAZING. And the pastries are out of this world. Thank you for the great experience and keep up the hard work.

Locally owned and operated coffee shop with a unique and beyond tasteful menu. This has to be my new go to cafe in the Oakland and broader East Bay. A lot of unique drinks such as orange blossom, cardamom spice, and date/tahini lattes that are honestly out of this world. The staff are all very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. We highly recommend you give this place a try and we advise you try one of the more unique lattes to get the full experience.
