Oh my good cup of coffee! I rarely get a fancy drink because I judge according to a basic cup of coffee —and this cup of the dark brew was outstanding! Not only is the coffee delish but the atmosphere and entire Oakland vibe is the best. I sat there drinking my brew and people watching! I mean they were doing an interview on one of the many comfy counches! 🤣 Ya need to try this coffee! ☕️

Good cafe for work or study. Free wifi, bathrooms, and plenty of seating. I went on a Monday around 2:45 and it was pretty crowded. Around 4pm a lot of people had cleared out. My rating is based mostly on atmosphere/vibes because I didn’t get any food but I did enjoy the drink I got. I bought an iced matcha lavender latte with oat milk and it was very tasty but I wish I tasted more lavender- I feel like I barely tasted it at all. If noise and music bothers you, you may not want to go here. Even when it was more empty toward the end of the day, there was a man playing music outside quite loudly and while I’m not completely sure if he was affiliated with the business, I think he was so I’m guessing they have performers come play music often. It didn’t bother me but did pull at my attention sometimes.

Good vibes here. Pretty good chicken pesto sandwich too. I would recommend getting here early if you want a seat, as it's pretty busy every day.

Their online menu is not consistent with their in-store offering. Their patties are very flaky and would not recommend eating it near your laptop. Was also hard to enjoy the space while a homeless person was constantly begging for food. The staff didn't seem engaged and were on their phones in the front of house. I had higher hopes for this visit, and hope that ownership takes a look at these constructive reviews as it is nice to go into black spaces and support these businesses. Small attention to details can go a long way.

As soon as I walked in atmosphere was great and peaceful, I order my Ice Mocha and Tuna melt , got seated less than 5 mins I got my drink and food and My Iced Mocha was so good I finish it before I could take a picture.
