A Total Vegan Oasis in Omaha! I cannot say enough good things about Amateur Coffee. Finding a 100% vegan shop that is this high-quality felt like finding a little oasis. Here is why you need to go: The Food & Drink: Both the coffee and the waffles were absolute works of art—and they tasted even better than they looked! Everything is handmade and delicious, with incredible gluten-free options that didn't feel like an afterthought. Planet First: I was so impressed by their commitment to being minimal waste. They use reusable cups for to-go orders (or you can bring your own). It’s clear they deeply care about the earth and their impact on it. The Vibe: The atmosphere is thoughtful, kind, and fun. You can tell they love people just as much as they love the planet. Special Shoutout to David: David, is truly the best type of human. He was so kind and caring, taking the time to make us feel like important humans rather than just another transaction. He gave us fantastic suggestions for exploring Omaha and tips on which parts of the zoo to hit! My only complaint? I don’t live next door! If you are in Omaha, this is a must-visit. Thank you for filling our souls with joy while we visited Omaha! We appreciate you!

love love love this coffee shop! the reusable glass program is super awesome & their fancy pants espresso is on point! visit every time im in town, 10/10 recommend!

This was one of the best coffee experiences I've had in Omaha. The coffee was so creamy and flavorful, which I know isn't often synonymous with the idea of vegan coffee, but it's so true. 10/10! I had the "Poolside" & it was coconut heaven. Just enough but not overwhelming. I even chomped on the ice when I was done to consume every drop. Hubby got the Banana Split and it was a dessert-like dream. Even a little nutty, which is often forgotten in similar flavored drinks. Perfection! The atmosphere was cozy, the people were pleasant, and the drinks were well worth it. Love being able to bring the cup home for $2 off our next visit when we bring them back in. I love this little place soooo much! I had no idea it existed sadly until today, and I’m so happy I gave it a try. Their matcha was incredibly good—it had a perfect nutty flavor, wasn't too sweet, and was exactly what I wanted without me even having to ask for adjustments. I think it had a hint of rose flavor, too, which quite literally made my heart soar! I truly hope they become a thriving business and get all the support they deserve. I loved every little detail, especially their cute little jars! 🌱💕 I will be back anytime I’m in Omaha.

My friends and I went here to get our morning coffee. I got the drangon matcha🍵, omg it was soo good. It was so delicious. The owner was so kind and friendly. The coffee shop gave us positive happy vibes. They also served us the matcha in glass bottles, if you return that glass bottle for your next order you get $2 off. Excellent marketing. I’ll definitely come back here again. Also my friend loved their donuts 🍩 a lot.
